The funeral of well known Canadian personality Mr. Ron Amero took place at Wat Chaimongkol on the afternoon of the 9th May 2008.

After a 4 year battle with throat cancer, 50 year old Ron Amero passed away peacefully on 2nd May at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya.  Many members of Ron’s family, his wife Gai and son Mic were there together with a multitude of friends, personalities and dignitaries such as Mayor Ittipol Khunplume and famous Thai singer and close friend of Ron, Add Carabao attended to pay their respects to the well loved man who was a founding member of the Jester’s Motorcycle Club way back in 1996.  As one member stated “He touched the lives of so many of us in his inimitable way.  You will be missed pal, but we knew we had to finally let you go.  Catch you down the road apiece.”
